The product has a three way killing action, Contact, Systemic, and Residual activity. When insects eat acephate, their bodies turn it into a chemical called methamidophos, which is another, stronger insecticide. Acephate and methamidophos affect the nervous system, causing over-activity in the nerves, muscles, or brain.
It is a
broad-spectrum insecticide with high-power contact and stomach action. It is
moderately persistent with residual systemic activity for approximately 10-15 days
at suggested foliage use rates.
