Limited.
§ Barrier Herbicide is a systemic and contact herbicide of Triazinone group,
which inhibits the Photosynthesis at Photo-system II.
§ It is economical because of its broad-spectrum activity and low
dose requirement.
§ Technical Name: Metribuzin 70 % WP
§ Mode of Entry: Contact and systemic herbicide.
§ Mode of Action: Barrier containing metribuzin, it is absorbed predominantly
by the roots, but also by the leaves, with translocation in the xylem. It
inhibits photosynthesis. It acts on both grasses and broad leaf weeds.
§ Effectively targets both grassy and broad-leaved weeds.
§ Barrier Herbicide successfully manages Phalaris minor, even in cases where
resistance has developed against many other herbicides.
§ Versatile Application: Can be used for both pre-emergence and
post-emergence weed control.
§ Metribuzin 70 % WP has no residual effect on succeeding crops.
